A variety of interesting diploma works were presented from the Metal and Jewel Studio of the University of Fine Arts in Bratislava. Vincent Durbák was one of the diploma candidates. His presentation was the centre of attention with its well-worked concept. He presented his jewels in context with photography – a collection of brooches and pendants in eye-catching colours and futuristic shapes. He exhibited for the first time individually in July and August at the Design Studio of ÚĽUV in Bratislava, and it was possible to see not only his newest collection but also a selection of his previous creations. Vincent Durbák named this presentation The Last One. But it only signifies the closing of an era for him – his studies. Currently he creates jewels.
