The property of wool and animal hair to bind together into a felt textile has a long history in the territory of Slovakia especially in hat and footwear manufacturing. At present, this unique and probably the oldest textile technique has been fading away. The exhibition Felt+ , that visitors could see in the Design Studio ÚĽUV from the 18th of July until 21st of September 2013 presented the work of brothers Ondrej and Peter Eliáš and their trademark Designend, through which they rediscover the utility dimension of this material in conjunction with other materials.
