Following the blueprint inclusion in the exclusive list of intangible cultural heritage of Slovakia, ÚĽUV’s activities in this area do not slow down. On the first weekend in May, we participated, together with representatives of this unique craft, Matej Rabada and Martin Trnka, in an exceptional event. It was held in an Austrian town of Gutau that is famous for its love for the blueprint. Each year, there are markets in Gutau on the 1st May, offering blueprint products. Here, you can find stalls not only from Austria, but the Czech Republic, Hungary and Germany as well. We are hoping that next year there will also be included, within the assortment of products offered in these markets, works by the talented designer and blueprint enthusiast Matej Rabada.
