In 1923 in Prostějov, Jan Nehera, together with Jakub Sekanina and František Dokoupil, founded his legendary clothing brand named Nehera. Four years on, Jan was running the business with his family only. In the early days, their garments were distributed to various salesmen. However, in a few years time, the family founded their own chain of shops all over the world. In 1931, Jan Nehera launched his first shop in Prague, following a credo “From the producer direct to the customer.” The company boasted several shops across Slovakia, offering a wide variety of services and most pleasant environment and atmosphere. A merger of shopping and entertainment became their business strategy.
