Martina Bizovská
Metal and wire. These materials were always part of Ladislav Jurovatý jr.´s everyday life since he was a child. Side by side with his father – a significant representative of traditional Slovak wire craft – he was inspired by a number of artistic impulses. Thus, his path soon started to direct him to art – jewelry and wire-making. He studied Slovak language and art at the Pedagogy Faculty of Commenius University in Trnava, and since 1993 he has dedicated himself to wire craft and has been one of the most significant and most important personalities in this art. In 2017 he was awarded the title of a Master of Folk Art Production.
