Martina Bizovská
Bratislava-born Katarína Jakubčinová is part of the young generation of producers who is moving forward in their art, inspired by traditional production, materials and the environment. She brings new shapes, ornamentation and under the Biela laba [White paw] brand, she makes ceramic jewellery as well as practical items. She has been working with ÚĽUV since 2019, when she submitted her brooches to ÚĽUV’s art committee. In her In the forest collection for ÚĽUV, we can find a hoopoe, a raven or badger. She would like to add new animals: a hare, a tit, a dove, a bear and a fox. As well as her brooches, she also presented to the committee part of her collection In a circle featuring natural motifs. It will soon be available in ÚĽUV shops.
