Helena Veličová
Having studied ceramics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, Lucia Kováčiková Betinská is a young and promising Slovak artist. In her studio she creates objects that stand at the crossroads of design and art, i.e. articles for everyday use as well as artistically orientated objects and installations. Within her own trademark she creates smaller articles of everyday use, Christmas decorations and, especially, jewellery. In this interview she talks about how she came to be involved in ceramics and what happened afterwards.
