In early September, the heart of our capital transformed to a lively, colourful display of traditional arts and crafts from all over Slovakia, exhibited at the 26th ÚĽUV’s Craftsmen Days. Both the young and the not so young could view and buy hundreds of products, as well as try their hand at particular craft and see behind-the-scenes. This year, as many as 106 producers from all over Slovakia exhibited their works here. To the overall success of this weekend contributed also a variety of wonderful performances, culminating in the traditional ceremony, awarding the titles of Master of Folk Art Production. It took place at the Gala Evening in the P. O. Hviezdoslav Theatre on Saturday.
