He gained basic knowledge at the Cooperative of Artistic Production Javorina, but his passion for the craft he inherited from his father – a furrier from Ždiar. He has been devoted to wood production since 1977. His range of products includes bowls, dishes, salt shakers, vases, plates, and small toys made from various, but mainly fruitwoods. The uniqueness of his turned bowls lies in leaving the bark on their edges. He collaborated with the artist Janka Menkynová in producing her design of turned wooden bowls in a modern color scheme. As a result, he was also part of the exhibition Design with the Face of ÚĽUV. He is a regular participant in fairs and festivals such as EĽRO Kežmarok, Days of the City of Košice, International Folklore Festival Košice, Days of Craftsmen ÚĽUV, etc. He also takes part in events called Craft in the Tatras, organized by ÚĽUV.
