She collaborated with ÚĽUV since 1961. She mastered all the work in wool processing – washing, carding, machine and hand spinning. Along with her husband Ján Aláč, she prepared wool for rug makers. In addition to these preparatory tasks, she also dedicated herself to weaving. She wove smooth and patterned rugs, throws, and cushions. In 1978, she won first prize in a competition organized by ÚĽUV for designing a new product – surovica. This was a wool throw, made from wool that is hand-spun into irregular yarn. ÚĽUV’s range was thus expanded to include white, colored, and variegated surovica, which became a sought-after product in ÚĽUV stores. In 1985, she obtained a certificate recognizing her as a master of folk art production in the field of weaving, awarded by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Qualifications of Folk Art Workers.
