He worked at the Michalovce production cooperative from 1949. He became active in production in 1970. He dedicated himself to the production and decoration of Pozdišovce ceramics. In 1981, he obtained a certificate recognizing his qualification as a master of folk art ceramic production, awarded by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Competence of Folk Art Production Workers.
