From childhood, her parents led her to active leisure activities. Her mother taught her various handcrafts, and at home, they always had a variety of materials and tools for “creating.” She enjoyed flipping through Dorka magazine and trying to make things based on it. I got into decorating Easter eggs with wax sometime in the second grade of elementary school. She doesn’t even know what the initial stimulus was – at first, she heated the wax pellets on an electric burner. But once she saw a footage of children decorating eggs and having small stands made from a compote bottle. Of course, she copied the idea. Since then, she has been more and more successful and enjoying this work. She drew inspiration from postcards and magazines. It wasn’t until years later that she came across a book on making Easter eggs published by ÚĽUV. She enthusiastically mastered wire technique as well. In addition, she eagerly tries out various techniques – traditional and new. She has been actively engaged in crafting since 1991. She also applies her experiences in her teaching practice.
