He lived his youth in the village of Mlynčeky and has been living in Poprad since 1981, where he works as a welder at Tatravagónka. His parents and grandparents come from Lendak and their stories about life and customs have inspired him in many of his works. His work is purely amateur, created for himself and his loved ones, driven by inner need and the joy of carving. He is primarily drawn to folk art, and the themes of his works explore traditions, symbols, and the richness of regional culture. Through his creations, he participates in nationwide rounds of the progressive art competition “Artistic Spectrum.”.
