She learned how to crochet in childhood. At first, she crocheted simple patterns – waves, which were used for blankets and tablecloths. Later, more demanding patterns – edgings. She started cooperating with ÚĽUV only in retirement in 1975. She focused on the traditional Hodruša patterns. In 1985, she obtained a certificate of recognition as a master of folk art production in the field of lace, awarded by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Competence of Workers in Folk Art Production.
