The creation of traditional rag dolls with hints of folk costumes, decorative pictures and ornaments made from sewn lace, husks and straw belongs to a wider range of folk art techniques utilized primarily in her pedagogical work with children, as well as as a lecturer in various courses for adults. She combines various materials – straw, textiles, husks, eggshells, various natural materials and paper, resulting in a wide and diverse assortment of her creations. In addition to folk costume and carnival dolls and masks, she specializes in decorations made of barley and oat straw created using bending, weaving, and tying techniques, Easter eggs decorated with straw appliqué, traditional greetings using cutouts from rye, wheat and soft oat straw, husks, textiles and independent decorative animal-shaped products. She employs most of the techniques she masters not only in her pedagogical work but also in her own creative work, where she ventures into more complex shapes and compositions. She has excelled in creating refined sets of straw ornaments combined with textiles and traditional husk figures and their sets in folk nativity scenes.
