Native of Michal na Ostrove, grew up in the village of Šintava. Worked as a bricklayer in Sered. Started carving in the 1980s. His artistic expression began in childhood, where he focused on painting. Participated in amateur art exhibitions, where wooden sculptures inspired him to also dedicate himself to sculpture. Completed training for amateur artists. Draws inspiration from rural life in the past, traditional crafts, folklore, and also delves into sacred themes. Stylizes real objects through his artistic expression, achieving robust figures with expressive features. Participated twice in the Woodcarvers event in Východná, where he created sculptures of Glassblower and Fisherman.
