He is a self-taught craftsman. Thanks to his self-made “machines” for working wood, he has been dedicated to producing utility and decorative items using woodturning techniques since his retirement age. He uses various types of fruit woods as material, which must undergo a complex drying process before use. The items he produces (bowls, jewelry boxes, caskets, picture frames, household objects) are characterized by an interesting multi-colored surface structure of wood stemming from its natural decor, enhanced by processing, often reminiscent of marble and ornamental decoration of oriental cabinets. For several years, he has been collaborating with glass painter Ľubica Maliariková, for whom he creates classic frames and miniature columnar and winged altarpieces.
He participates in folklore festivals in Myjava, Detva, Pukanec, Hrušov, Banská Štiavnica.
