He comes from Lehôtka pod Brehmi. He started repairing the fife that he bought at the Folk Festival in Východná. In 1975, he made his first fujara. The instruments are decorated with the sub-Polish ornament. He specializes in the production of decorated and undecorated fujaras. He is also a good interpreter of fujara playing and a singer. In addition, he also plays the trumpet, violin, and heligónka. He has participated in several presentations of fujara both at home and abroad. In 2008, he presented his fujaras at the competitive exhibition Instrumentum excellens in Detva.
