The artisan specializes in handcraft production from bulrush. She has been active since around 2009. She gained experience and knowledge of production through a two-year accredited course in Budapest – Hagyományok Háze. By passing final exams and submitting a research report, she became a producer of utility items made from straw, husk, and bulrush. Before studying in Budapest, she completed a course in making traditional children’s toys from natural materials in Sárospatak, Hungary. She is inspired by traditional techniques and patterns in her creations. She likes to combine bulrush with other materials such as wood, leather, and fabric. Her collection includes various utility and decorative items such as scarves, bread baskets, seat cushions, woven bottles, cutlery holders, slippers, and rugs. She also makes women’s handbags, showcasing material variations. In 2019, she created a bulrush handbag using weaving technique for the ÚĽUV within Retro Collections, according to ÚĽUV’s original design. In 2022, she conducted research for the Museum of Folk Art Production in Stupava on the topic of bulrush production. She regularly participates in craft fairs within the Košice region, as well as Master Days in Bratislava. She has a history of exhibiting both in Slovakia and abroad. She also collaborates with ÚĽUV as a lecturer at the Regional Crafts Center in Košice and Banská Bystrica.
