He completed the Studio of Clothing Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava. In his work, there is a visible fascination with nature and humility towards traditional materials, which he approaches with a contemporary exploratory approach, emphasizing detail and manual, thorough garment processing. Each collection is based on a specific theme, which he develops in the form of multiple models. He skillfully combines the animalistic naturalness and wilderness of nature with a touch of luxury and grandeur. He primarily uses natural materials such as wool, linen, and silk. Martin Hrča wants to emphasize that even traditional, rugged material can be creatively processed in sophisticated design and with a contemporary expression.
