She obtained information about weaving craft from people in the Handlová Valley, from the villages of Ráztočno, Morovno, Chrenovec-Brusno and Veľká Čausa, from the late Mrs. Pekárová, Mrs. Mária Ľahká and Mr. Andrej Vysočáni. She has been interested in folk art since childhood, becoming involved through performances in folklore ensembles Bezanka, Vtáčnik, Hájiček, where she sang and danced. She is skilled in playing the violin and cimbalom, performs in the Hájiček ensemble from Chrenovec-Brusno. Her range includes woven covers, tablecloths, pockets made of cotton and linen, which can be seen in the collections of the Podpolianske Museum in Detva.
Since 2000, she has participated in all major and minor folklore festivals, especially in the vicinity of her residence – in the open-air museum in Zuberec, in Martin, Detva, Očová, Polomka, Prievidza, and Hrušov. As a trainer, she has been active within the Upper Nitra Folklore Festivals at the School of Masters event – protecting and supporting crafts in the Upper Nitra.
