He is dedicated to creating images made of colored veneers – mosaics. He got his first contact with this method of furniture decoration from his grandfather in Bánovce nad Bebravou. “My grandfather had a furniture workshop. He started experimenting with surface treatment. He made a piece of furniture using a newly created, atypical technique. He wanted to place a veneer image on the furniture in a more realistic way. He used a wider range of colored veneers. He cut them into small pieces, achieving depth and plasticity in the artwork. With this technique, my grandfather taught my father to work. They created a diverse range of pieces and also instructed me along the way. Now I present a part of the work that we have created.”
