Native of Radatice, trained lathe operator, worked as a forestry worker, then a professional singer in PULSE in Prešov. At elementary school, he attended a carving circle led by Pavol Šarišský, later focusing on painting. He returned to carving at the urging of P. Šarišský, who invited him to a carving symposium in Janov in 2001, where he carved his first large sculpture. Being unemployed, he began to focus more intensively on carving. He participated in other symposiums in Raslavice (2001, 2002), Rozhanovce (2002), Bardejovské Kúpele (2002), and Čadca (2003). In 2003-2004, he exhibited in the hallway connecting the spa house to the health centre Ozón in Bardejovské Kúpele. In 2007, he took part in the creative carving symposium Kresané into wood in Východná.
