She learned embroidery in childhood from her mother. At the age of 14, she was already embroidering folk costume components on her own. Since 1957, she has been embroidering Šoporňa pictures for the ÚĽUV. Themes for the pictures were chosen from everyday village life – watering, raking hay, grape harvesting, childbirth, and later also the seasons of spring, summer, autumn, winter. She first sketches the pictures on linen canvas and then embroiders them on a frame. It requires great creative ability and skill. In 1962, she obtained a certificate of qualification as a master of folk art production in the field of embroidery, issued by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Qualifications of Workers in Folk Art Production. She is dedicated to Šoporňa embroidery. She also draws the patterns on the linen canvas herself, with themes depicting everyday village life.
