As a small child, she helped support her family with lace making work. Her mother taught her to make narrow simple lace with bobbins. She started cooperating with ÚĽUV in 1977. She made meter-long lace for folk costume parts and various patterns of traditional lace for covering textiles, tablecloths, and later also for table runners. In 1987 she obtained a certification as a master of folk art production in the field of lace making, awarded by the Commission for assessing the professional qualifications of folk art workers.
