She specializes in making cloth dolls with rich embroidery, showcasing her work at the exhibition in 2009 in Košice – Myslava. I create only one type of folk costume, the attire of a Myslava married woman. Many costumes in our region share similar elements. The costume is a faithful replica of a real folk costume with all its details. The bonnet, apron, ribbons on it, lace on the blouse, and the sash between the skirt and the vest are hand-embroidered, the small boots are self-made, the skirt is finely pleated on a homemade press. All the ribbons that adorn the costume from behind are attached to the black headband. The 60-centimeter doll has two petticoats and a short narrow skirt. The size of the doll is deliberately chosen because it is not possible to artistically process all the details on miniature models. Each embroidery is unique with its colors and patterns – no combination is repeated. I deliver the doll in the original box with a six-language text about the origin of the costume.
