She learned the craft of gingerbread making in her family. Her mother, Margita Nemčeková, was among the most skilled gingerbread decorators in the upper Nitra region. She has been actively involved in production since 2000. She inherited the mastery of decorating gingerbread with fine white lines based on her own imagination, freely developing traditional Slovak ornamentation known from embroidery. She uses traditional materials – honey, flour, sugar, eggs, water, and gingerbread spices. She also makes walnut gingerbreads, filled with jam and rum. The decoration is done with a simple piping bag.
