As a child, she learned to tie ribbons that decorated the edges of scarves. Scarves were worn with traditional clothing for festive occasions. On ordinary days, scarves with a simple pattern were tied in a “cverenné” style, and on holidays, scarves with more elaborate decorative patterns were worn. In addition to traditional scarves, she could also tie ribbons on towels and tablecloths. She began collaborating with ÚĽUV in 1967. She applied the tying technique to traditional clothing and later to table linens. These products became an essential part of ÚĽUV’s assortment. In 1982, she obtained a certificate of qualification as a master of folk art production in the field of lace making, awarded by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Competence of Workers in Folk Art Production.
