A native of Javorina. He learned carving in a carving cooperative in Spišská Belá, where he worked for 12 years, later he was employed in the promotional workshop of TANAP. In his production assortment, we find sticks, shepherd’s axes, horns, bird callers, trough fiddles, and a small bass. He uses regional artistic motifs in decoration, ranging from scenes from social life through fauna (mold in flat decoration) to flora (fiddle heads in the shape of an eagle’s head). In his instrument making, we also find a four-string bass, which is smaller than the classic bass, allowing this instrument to be used as a counterpoint.
