She came into contact with the production of Easter eggs for the first time in 1960 during a training in Modra. Her original profession was a teacher. She decorated the Easter eggs using batik and wax techniques. In 1986, she obtained a certificate recognizing her qualifications as a master of folk art production in the field of Easter egg making, awarded by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Competence of Folk Art Workers.
