Interest in fujaras and whistles was already acquired in childhood. He obtained the basics of this production from his father. He used traditional technique of etching with nitric acid for decoration. In addition to floral motifs, he also used figurative motifs for decoration. In 1960, he obtained a certificate recognizing his qualification as a master of folk art production of fujaras and whistles, awarded by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Competence of Workers in Folk Art Production.
