He grew up in an environment rich in stimuli of traditional folk culture, in a family where his father is a carver and his mother is a museum worker. This is related to his rapid maturation and experience in traditional folk art. At a young age, he developed into a skillful master carver, who can create according to his own themes and also make replicas of rare works by master carvers from history. That’s why he found his place as a restorer at the Slovak National Museum – Bojnice Museum. Unique is, for example, his replica of a Venetian mirror frame, replicas of Gothic madonnas, as well as other works. He sees the model of carving art in the carving from the medieval and baroque periods. In addition to wood, he also artistically processes horn – into the classic form of shepherd’s horns with relief, as well as decorative items such as combs, hairpins, snuffboxes, or salt cellars.
