As a child, she mastered all the traditional techniques characteristic of the Hont embroidery (cross-stitching, satin stitch, seed stitch, twisted cord, as well as cutwork, drawn thread work, and stitches over padding). She also applied her skills in decorating traditional folk costumes. In 1953, she started collaborating with the Crafts and Production Association of Slovakia (ÚĽUv). By mastering all the techniques, she also embroidered covers from other regions of Slovakia, from Horehronie, Čičmany, and Liptov. In 1984, she obtained a certificate of recognition as a master craftswoman in the field of embroidery, awarded by the Commission for assessing the professional competence of workers in folk art production.
