He collaborated with ÚĽUV from 1956. He made “shepherd’s” bells, which were elongated in shape and used for sheep. Later he expanded his range to include “cowbells”, bells with broader shoulders that tapered downwards and were mainly used for cows. His bells were known for their excellent tuning, and were sought after by musicians who used them in various instrumental arrangements of compositions. In 1968, he obtained a certificate of recognition as a master of folk art production in the field of metalworking, awarded by the Commission for the assessment of professional qualifications of workers in folk art production.
