From dry grass commonly known as “sweet grass”, he weaves Christmas decorations – circular wreaths of various sizes, bells, pinecones, spikes for the Christmas tree. He learned the techniques of weaving from fine thin grass from a shepherd in Šamudovce when he was seven. He began to systematically devote himself to this activity in his later years. He demonstrates his skill at various events dedicated to traditional crafts, organized by the Zemplin Educational Center in Michalovce, where he also led grass weaving courses.
