At first, he carved wooden ladles and plastics with pastoral motifs, gradually focusing on figural sculpture, where he achieved exceptional mastery. Initially, he created miniature figures, later more substantial ones, on which he could apply his characteristic sense of expression of the figure. He works on subjects of shepherds, herdsmen, night watchmen, and sacred motifs. His sculptures and reliefs are characterized by deep carving and significant plastic shapes expressing emotionality.
