She learned to embroider already in childhood. She belonged to the best embroiderers in the region of Čataj. She mastered all embroidery techniques – raised embroidery, drawn thread work, cutwork, seeding, and card stitches. In addition to the Čataj embroidery, she also embroidered in Prievidza, Jablonica, and Záhorie. In 1980, she received a certificate recognizing her qualification as a master of folk art production in the field of embroidery, awarded by the Commission for the Assessment of Professional Competence of Workers in Folk Art Production.
