Doc. Mgr.art Mária Štraneková ArtD. (1977) is a fashion designer and university lecturer, whose fashion creations were first recognized by the professional community in 2007 with the title Top Styl Designer while she was studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava. The author describes her work as creatively minimalist, timeless, unique in design, created with a comprehensive interest in both the customer and ecology. She also produces experimental and conceptual designs, complemented with Life care instruction tags.

She regularly showcases her work locally at exhibitions and fashion shows (Bratislava Design Week, Fashion Live!), as well as on the international fashion scene. She had the opportunity to present her collections through fashion shows in Geneva, MQ Vienna Fashion Week in Vienna, Vancouver Fashion Week, Central European Fashion Days in Budapest, Slovak Fashion Night in New York, and Designblok.

From 2017 to 2018, she worked as a coordinator of foreign relations at the Center of Folk Art Production, collaborating on innovative projects. This collaboration led to the creation of a pilot project and exhibition titled Natural Mode – About Fashion in a Natural “Mode”. The Natural mode II collection subsequently won the main award in the National Design Award 2021 competition in the Fashion and Lifestyle category. Currently, she works in Bratislava and Zlín at the University of Tomáš Baťa in the Arts Management studio.
