She learned to embroider on clothing as a 10-year-old. In 1970-74, she mastered the technique of decorative embroidery – creating wrinkles on blouses called “smocking”. She specializes in full flat embroidery stitches, sewing along pre-drawn lines. She has been collaborating with the ÚĽUV (Centre for Folk Art Production) since 1978. In 1987, she obtained a certificate recognizing her as a master of folk art production in the field of embroidery, awarded by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Competence of Workers in Folk Art Production.
