Trnka Martin
Martin Trnka, the youngest of the trio of sons of the master indigo printer Stanislav Trnka, lives and works in Púchov as a craftsman specializing in wood and metal production. After his father’s death, he started intensively working on the reconstruction of the workshop. He gradually succeeded in legally settling the workshop area, acquiring the neighboring property to further expand the workshop, saving almost all the original equipment and machinery of the workshop. Currently, extensive reconstruction of the workshop and its equipment is underway with the aim of reviving the production of the original Púchov indigo printing. In addition, he strives to create a museum in one of the buildings that would reflect the history of indigo printing and clothing production in the Púchov valley
