Since childhood, he has been interested in manual work and also created marquetry and oil paintings. Throughout his professional life, he worked as an independent artist in the promotional department of various factories. He started producing perforated eggshells after retiring in 2003. With no one nearby to consult, he figured out everything in a complicated way on his own. For example, he initially made the holes in the shells with needle files – only later, when he acquired a modeling drill, did he realize that this technique was not as difficult as it had seemed. Gradually, he also made various templates for pre-drawing patterns and other tools that facilitate his work. He started with simple lattices, gradually adding more complex reliefs, always aiming for compositional originality and innovation in this area. He sources his eggshells from private poultry breeders as well as commercial sellers. His work is a source of relaxation for him and fills all his free time.
