He trained as an artistic tinsmith. He worked in artistic-craft workshops and since 1968 he started cooperating with the Slovak Folk Art Center. He dedicated himself to producing traditional folk jewelry. These were brooches in 4 sizes, necklaces, and hairpins. Later, he began producing jewelry collections – bracelets, rings, necklaces, and hair clips. In their decoration, he used original elements from folk jewelry, which he incorporated into the central motif. In 1982, he received an award for recognition of the qualification of a master of folk art production in the field of metal production, granted by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Competence of Folk Art Production Workers.
