He mastered the technique of wood carving excellently. Using this technique, he made traditional doves, later transitioning to the production of functional objects – lampshades for lighting fixtures. Here, he experimented with various shapes, highlighting another characteristic of carved wood – flexibility, which was not prominent in traditional products. In 1960, he obtained a certificate of qualification as a master of folk art production in the field of wood carving, awarded by the Commission for Assessing the Professional Competence of Folk Art Workers.
