It focuses on traditional folk and pastoral, as well as secular motifs. It draws inspiration from the work of Slovak painters processing typical Slovak motifs. It acknowledges influences such as Martin Benka and his paintings, whose themes (such as guardians of individual regions of Slovakia, guardians of individual crafts, arts, and activities) it tries to uniquely transfer into its reliefs. In its creations, it prefers reliefs over sculptures, as they allow it to express the central motif along with the background. Additionally, wood for reliefs – most commonly linden or pear – does not require as long of a drying time as wood for sculptures. Alongside carving, it is involved in the production of small carpentry products, such as portable folding chairs and stools.
