The apron is sewn from two halves of indigo-dyed print pressed on homemade linen fabric. The edges are sewn with a connecting stitch, sewn with red and white embroidery thread. The gathered apron is sewn into a cover made of plain indigo-dyed fabric, embroidered with thicker cotton thread. The pre-drawn embroidery is sewn with stem stitch, satin stitch, and cross stitches. Factory tapes are sewn onto the cover to tie the apron at the waist. The bottom edge is finished using a hemming stitch.
