The apron is sewn from thin cotton fabric (voile or organdy). It is embroidered with crosses. The name of the wearer – Kristína Filipková – is incorporated into the top row of the embroidery. Between the rows of cross-stitched embroidery, white machine embroidery madeira is sewn in. The apron is divided into rows of narrow stitches which are hand-sewn. In the upper part, the apron is folded into deep pleats that are machine-stitched. Wide cotton ribbons, finished with embroidery and tied tassels, are attached to the apron. The embroidery is cross-stitch, complemented by eyelets and leaves, fully embroidered. The embroidery is finished with sewn-on metal ornaments.
