The apron is made of factory canvas, from two halves, which are hand-sewn together. Horizontally, the apron is divided by a row of peas, the “scissors” pattern. On both sides of the peas, there are embroidered geometric motifs, “small masters”. The embroidery is done with colored beads according to the thread count. Used stitches: flat stitch, peas stitch, chain stitch, cross stitch, master stitch. The upper part of the apron is gathered and embroidered, which in Čičmany was called “selected for a sunshade”. A cotton bobbin lace is sewn to the lower edge, which was made in Staré Hory. The apron was obtained from the cooperative in Detva.
