About product

The apron is made of factory canvas. Two panels are joined by sewn lace, created from loops, and inserted between the panels to give the impression of a connecting seam. This method of joining is known in the Trenčín region. In the lower part of the apron, there is an insert of cutwork embroidery. On both sides, it is bordered by a strip of small beads. At the bottom edge, there is a narrow cutwork embroidery and above it another strip of small beads. Around the apron, there is a crocheted lace edging made of cotton thread. The apron is gathered at the waist and sewn into an embroidered envelope. The embroidery on the envelope is based on thread count and the drawn design. All embroideries on the apron are stitched with white cotton thread and fine unbleached hemp thread.
