Her grandmother Maria Chladna worked as a lace maker for ULUV and, from a young age, she also perfected this craft alongside her. When she lost her job in the early 90s, this fact also played a role in her decision-making about her future direction – in 1992 she decided to make a living by lace making. And although modestly, she has survived with it to this day.

Initially, she tried to apply bobbin lace in the production of clothing, but at the price of bobbin lace products she was unable to produce sufficient quantities. And so she gradually focused on old patterns of regional types of Slovak lace, which – given her artistic education – she enriched with her own artistic contribution, transforming pattern details into individual pieces. For ULUV, she currently supplies variations of salt mining lace (gothic windows, star) in various color variations.
