The thimble (thread and needle container) is produced using the technique of casting into a mold. The model consists of two parts that are cast in colored cover glazes, or decorated with colored clays and glazed with transparent glazes. They were designed in various variants.

The object in the form of a thimble refers to women’s work, skill, household, and home in general. A new idea associated with the concept of a woman-housewife ultimately led to a change in its appearance, replacing the original abstract conception with more narrative elements that better corresponded to the atmosphere of a cozy home. Dwelling, hideaway, or nest are concepts that are internally close to me. (excerpt from RUD 4/2004)
